• Ludovic de Saint Sernin: The Reverie Spring/Summer 2026 collection

For Spring/Summer 2026, Ludovic de Saint Sernin summons the grandeur of his aristocratic heritage only to unravel it, transforming the codes of nobility into a manifesto of sensuality, freedom and rebellion. Aristocracy has always been a theatre of power; here, that legacy is reclaimed and reimagined as a community of friends who refuse to be defined by their surroundings. Emma Chamberlain, Alexa Chung, Sebastian Croft and Corey Fogelmanis join a cast of models including Summer, Fatou, Bo and Ana, forming a modern circle that embodies a new kind of nobility, one defined not by title but by visibility, audacity, authenticity and influence.

With this collection, Ludovic explores a more romantic and feminine side to the brand, embracing softness and delicacy as a form of strength. It is a gentler approach to design and material. The collection distils the maison’s codes into gestures of subtle rebellion: corsetry, lace and lacing return as signatures, but softened into fluid silks, transparent cottons and sculptural lightness. Jackets inspired by aristocratic uniforms melt into softness, gowns fall with contemporary ease and trousers are interrupted by lace cutaways. Masculinity and femininity intertwine seamlessly, expressed as quiet power and gentle defiance.

The palette is a dialogue with history: deep purple as subversive strength, faded ivory evoking powdered wigs and Rococo salons, porcelain blue recalling painted ceramics. Yet nothing here is pastiche; heritage becomes a point of departure, refined into an LdSS wardrobe that speaks to freedom rather than constraint. With SS26, Ludovic de Saint Sernin crowns a new aristocracy, one where elegance is liberation, sensuality is power and belonging is the ultimate luxury.
