From Future is aimed to offer high-quality, sustainably-produced clothes that are also affordable. Like so many others today, they are aware of the challenges raised by the impact of human activity on the environment. This is why the vast majority of their products are made from 100% natural fabrics that are not derived from petrochemicals. For the rest of their collection, they use mainly recycled materials. This is the case for their jeans and padded jackets, for example.
Their commitment to sustainable, responsible fashion
At From Future, sustainability guides our sourcing choices, especially for our noble materials like cashmere and merino wool.
When it comes to cashmere, they were particularly sensitive to AbTF’s The Good Cashmere Standard® (GCS ), which sets strict criteria for ethical, environmentally-friendly cashmere production. By choosing GCS-verified cashmere, they ensure that the cashmere comes from farms that focus on animal welfare, environmental preservationand fair working conditions. This commitment to ethical sourcing enables them to offer high-quality products that combine style and integrity, while respecting breeders and the environment.
When it comes to Merino wool, they’re proud to use a wool that’s certified to the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS), guaranteeing animal welfare and sustainable soil management. This certification also ensures complete traceability of the wool, from producer to store.
Production aimed at quality and sustainability
They select the best fibres, for example, they have grade A cashmere and grade 5A silk, which are among the best on the market, merino wool or even supima cotton, which by definition are qualitative materials.
They have also obtained RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) certification for their merino wool, which ensures that the wool has been made with respect for animal welfare (absence of stress, malnutrition, pain, etc.), without mulesing and in the preservation of a healthy soil and biodiversity. This certification ensures the physical traceability of the wool and controls each stage from the fibre to sale through processing (certified by ECOCERT 277257-EGL).
Their choices factory inspections are also carried out conscientiously with BSCI audits carried out to ensure compliance with social & environmental standards (protection, rights, health, fair remuneration, ethical behaviour). They also pay an eco-contribution to the Refashion organisation for a more circular textile industry.
From harvest to store
They limit the number of intermediaries and establish a relationship of trust and goodwill with all those whose work makes From Future garments possible and without whom they could not offer products of such quality at such fair prices.
Their supply chain comprises four stages: raw material sourcing, fibre spinning and processing, fabric manufacturing and garment manufacturing. The first stages take place in rural areas in countries that have developed expertise in textiles: China and Inner Mongolia for cashmere and silk and Australia for merino wool. The following steps are taken by their suppliers in Portugal and China. Once the garments have been manufactured to their high-quality standards, they are made available to you in-store, or for delivery worldwide.

They have a strong commitment to natural materials and aim to introduce innovations to achieve modern looks without compromising on quality and comfort. They experiment with bright colours, knitting techniques and unique motifs and like to give the classics a new twist.
